Alain Freymond is the Chairman of the Board of BearBull Group DIFC and Co-founder and CIO of BBGI Group. BBGI Group is one of the leading independent wealth and asset management firms in Switzerland. Headquartered in Geneva, the firm is regulated by the Swiss Financial Markets Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and is a member of the Swiss Association of Asset Managers (SAAM).  Together with Mr. Fernand Garcia, Mr. Freymond is leading BBGI Group’s expansion and investment strategy for institutional and private clients alongside in-house investment funds. Mr. Freymond has conducted numerous academic studies in various fields of investments, which have led to the creation of various successful and efficient investment concepts and financial indices that have proved instrumental for both private and institutional investors. He was the first financial expert in Switzerland to conduct academic studies on real estate investment diversification opportunities and the role of real estate assets in portfolio return optimization for institutional investors. These indices have improved financial markets transparency and helped investors to compare their investments returns to established financial benchmarks, the most popular being the BBGI Private Banking Indices, BBGI Clean Energy Index as well as BBGI OPP2 Compliant Indices for Swiss Pension Funds.

Prior to founding BBGI Group, Mr. Freymond was the head of asset allocation and investment strategy for institutional clients at one of the largest private banks in Switzerland. Mr. Freymond also managed funds on behalf of some of the leading sovereign wealth funds in the Middle East. Mr. Freymond holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management, Economy, and Finance from the Geneva School of Economics and Management.

Mr. Freymond often takes part in internal and external seminars as speaker, and his financial articles are published on a regular basis in various financial publications both in Switzerland and abroad.

Fernand Garcia is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of BearBull Group DIFC and Co-founder and Head of Asset Management of BBGI Group. BBGI Group is one of the leading independent wealth and asset management firms in Switzerland. Headquartered in Geneva, the firm is regulated by the Swiss Financial Markets Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and is a member of the Swiss Association of Asset Managers (SAAM).  Together with Mr. Alain Freymond, Mr. Garcia is leading BBGI Group’s expansion and investment strategy for institutional and private clients alongside in-house investment funds. Mr. Garcia has been instrumental in positioning BBGI Group as a leading independent wealth and asset management firm in Switzerland, managing funds for some of the most prominent Swiss pension funds and institutional clients.

Prior to founding BBGI Group, Mr. Garcia had been a member of investment committees of institutional asset management divisions of several prestigious private and universal banks in Switzerland. Mr. Garcia managed and sat on the governing board of various pension funds in Switzerland and led the management of several investment funds which have been granted international awards in various fields of investments (equities/bonds). Mr. Garcia holds a Master,s degree in engineering and completed his education in finance and economics at the University of Geneva. This dual expertise has been paramount in the development of a unique proprietary quantitative investment tool developed to optimize portfolio management techniques and efficiently manage investment opportunities and risks.
