Alain Freymond is the Chairman of BearBull Group (DIFC) and Co-founder & Chief Investment Officer of BBGI Group (Geneva), a premier FINMA-regulated Swiss asset management firm.

Mr. Freymond’s career is defined by an elite, cross-disciplinary expertise spanning over 35 years at the intersection of institutional asset management and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) private wealth defense. As the head of macro-economic research and leader of the quantitative analyst teams across the group’s entities, he directly steers the proprietary intelligence and tactical asset allocation models that safeguard client portfolios. Prior to co-founding BBGI Group, he served as the Head of Asset Allocation and Investment Strategy for institutional clients at Banque Pictet & Cie, one of Switzerland’s largest and most prestigious private banking institutions.

A recognized pioneer in financial engineering, Mr. Freymond orchestrated complex investment mandates on behalf of leading Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs) and government entities across the Middle East. Under his analytical leadership, he pioneered definitive frameworks on asset optimization, creating industry-standard benchmarks—including the BBGI Private Banking Indices and BBGI Swiss Pension Fund Indices (OPP2).

Bringing a unique fusion of Swiss institutional discipline and deep localized GCC intelligence, Mr. Freymond leads BearBull’s strategic expansion. He holds a BA in Management, Economics, and Finance from the Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM) and remains a prominent thought leader and regular speaker at international economic seminars.

Fernand Garcia is the Vice-Chairman of BearBull Group (DIFC) and Co-founder & Head of Asset Management of BBGI Group (Geneva), a premier FINMA-regulated Swiss asset management firm. Mr. Garcia brings over three decades of elite, dual-disciplinary expertise combining advanced quantitative engineering with institutional portfolio management. Prior to co-founding BBGI Group, he served on the investment committees of the institutional asset management divisions of several of Switzerland’s most prestigious private and universal banking institutions, while also sitting on the governing boards of prominent Swiss pension funds. An architect of sophisticated investment structures, Mr. Garcia has directed multiple international award-winning equity and fixed-income funds.

Leveraging his background in engineering and advanced finance, he spearheaded the development of the group’s unique proprietary quantitative investment engine—a framework central to optimizing portfolio management, managing cross-border risk, and driving consistent capital growth for institutional and UHNW portfolios. Working in close synergy with Mr. Alain Freymond, Mr. Garcia steers BearBull’s international expansion and wealth architecture strategy. He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and completed his postgraduate specialization in finance and economics at the University of Geneva.
